On the Mod's that don't have voice acting, is there a way to "slow down" the text of what the NPC's say?? By the time I'm in the middle of what they said, its gone to the next line of dialogue, and I feel I'm missing bits of info that I'd like to read & have further understanding & enjoyment of the storyline for that MOD(ie. Emerald Isle Mod) Any help or ideas??

This is done placing "silent MP3" files with the desired delay. More clearly, mp3 files with no sound at all, but that plays for some seconds.

Edit: Misinterpreted you are making a mod. Well in your case the procedure would be increasing the already included mp3 files, or they aren't in the correct place or just missing.

Hhhmmm...ok, I'll try that, but the next question is, where do I find "silent MP3"?? Would that be in the Mod Manager?? or elsewhere?

Listen, you must always read (and re-read the ones you have trouble with) the comments of the mods you plan to download or that you do download. You will find out what the most frequent issues are with it, and how others were able to resolve them.

The mod you're talking about is a BETA mod which means it's unfinished and, for all intents and purposes, untested, the mod's author has decided to allow the community to test the mod, before its official release. That's your "caveat emptor" (and not a dis on you, but something you need to remain aware of).

However, by re-reading the comments on the mod, look what someone pointed out:


I'm familiar with that mod the commenter is referring to, and I will try to find it, maybe someone else will find it before I do, give me a half hour.
