Think about this. as the Prince of Madness you want your realm to remain secure. rid it of order and sanity. and honestly i loved making people go mad. so why not make this a looping quest? and even as Sheogoraths Champion you may want to have some fun and protect the realm. so why not?

i know xedillan was great fun and i would love to do it again unless somone can find a way to carry on with the SI questline it could be hard to do but other then its great fun and new items

Well after the Gatekeeper was rebuilt, Xedilian pretty much became useless again.

Remember, when you were doing tasks for the previous Madgod, the guy inside Xedilian said it hadn't been used in forever.
