Well........ I'm a nervous wreck. I don't want the next three years of my life to suddenly be decided! I need more time. Anyone have any?

In times of stress, I always juggle bottles of nitroglycerin. That does a pretty good job of keeping my mind occupied.

Well... if i plant this pip now, when it finally bears fruit, you, if anyone, dezi, will still be in sufficiently tantalizing good form to have a nibble of the fruit there on. I, on the other hand, will probably be fertilizer.
Though, one never knows. Something may just accidently come along which prolongues ones life far beyond its natural span.
Or kills one even quicker.
And that is why a list of grades, received on one day, need not affect the rest of ones life. Happy accidents always await those receptive to them. Throughout the whole of ones life.

I am content to report that my boy did very well, and will now enter the college of his choice.
Note, please , the extreme use of understatement. No mention,at all, of running, screaming up and down our street, with fell hound howling at my heels. He likes a good excuse for a bit o' the howling, does fell hound.
I hope that Festerby... did as well as he could have hoped. I hope that everyone did as well as could be hoped. But...remember, those who didnt, those cherries are still there to be nibbled.

Even better than I ever hoped I'd get

How did everyone else do? (I'm sure I'm not the only british sixth-former on this site
