I've been trying to get a birth sign i created to work properly in gave for a while now and i can't seem to figur out whats wrong.

I tried makeing several copies of it and deleting the the ones that didn't work. but none of them ever work so i tried that a few more times.

are there any other ways to get them to work.

Making new copies wont do any good, because youre simply copying the same nonworking file. Make sure youre not leaving any open values and such for the birthsign.
It might just be interfering with another mod you have. What exactly do you mean by "wont work"? does the game load? and is the bs even an option during the game?
