Hey guys. Hey I have ALWAYS dreamed of a mod for Oblivion that gives you a quest of some sort and you eventually at the end become a king, say something like:

--At the end of the main storyline for Oblivion after you become the champion of cyrodil, the mod extends the story even more and as there is absolutely no way to get the septim bloodline back to rule (With Martin Septim dead and no heirs of course), the elder council finds the player most worthy in all of Tamriel to take the throne as the new, newly legitimate Emporer or king you could say, and the dragonfires are newly lit with his/her blood. So, thats what I thought would be a fantastic mod and make it like you can give orders to the Imperial Legion and command Chancellor Ocato (As hes the right hand man). And the Imperial Palace in the Imperial City would be your new home with a new bedroom and of course a throne room . And so on.--

I cant mod to save my life . So I look up to all you genius modders .

I like the thought of Kings and all and I thought I would mention this .

at the end of the MQ i think it gives a hint on the vid "when the next elder scroll is written you will be it scribe" maybe a clue?

Oh yeah good point . That kinda appealed to me. Just I hear no word of any Elder Scroll 5 coming yet .

I heard they were planning it though.

There exists a mod where you can be well on your way towards doing just that.

It isn't finished yet; however, it is 100% playable, has no conflicts with the Bethesda Quests that use the Imperial Palace, and the Throne Room is made. A lot of members here will recommend this mod if you ask their opinion about it. Oh, and definitely load-order this mod.

i perher the title of king it suits most people lips idea does follow a new mod? a new land? where you govent your own isle?

Yeah i have always wanted my Char to become an king someplace, not in Cyrodiil tho, i dont wanna become leader of the empire, thats too powerful and too responsible for my taste, and if you make an Kingdom in Cyrodiil it be kinda weird.

sadly i can not mod to save my life either and when i try to read the guides to it they give me a head ache


i like the idea of being a king over my own land tho, good idea Tyreil .


maybe a mod where when you are rewarded with your own small Provence/ island that you become king in after you save Tamriel ?

You can easely be a king of an area that is no larger than the counties of Cyrodill. Think of Sentinel (which is a city state on the westcoast close to High Rock) in Hammerfell where they have a King by the name of Lhotun despite Sentinel being only one city albeit with great influence.
