All of a sudden now when i download mod files they are in tes constuction set format and i cant open them using winrar. any ideas 2 help???

Are you saying the mod you downloaded is a "omod" or ESP?

if it is an omod you install it using OBMM... if is a ESP you just place it in the /data folder (obviously all ESPs and ESMs must be activated to work)

if is a 7z, well so it is just another format like zip or rar and winrar should unpack it without troubles (or you can download the 7z program here in the nexus, free and good and unpacks lots of formats)

hey thanks for the help. Files were previously downloading then being open with the tes construction set, then i would receive an error message. Restarted pc and they are now downloading as normal winrar extraction files now. so i don't know what happened there...thanks for taking the time 2 help out though much appreciated
