I'm thinking they are just to sell, afaik. However, I believe there might be a walkthrough on the Lost Spires website that you could take a look at. If you find out you can do something other than sell them, let us know.

Well some are more than display items

For instance feed the strange yellowish animal at the entrance (don't remember the name) with flawless gems and see what happen. At lest 3 flawless gem...

I did that the last time I ran the mod. All you get from placing all those jewels in are arrows, and you only get one arrow at a time.

After finding that out, I decided to save all of the jewels for Midas Spells ingredients. And I ate the pepper also. Nice special FX on that one.

Well try other jewels and you'll see. Try all six (I think) types of flawless jewels and you'll get other things than just arrows...

plus I am not sure Mr. OP has Midas Spell installed...

you can also use the arrow called souldrinker to gain a power.. i cant remember wich tough..

about the jewel eater.. i have never tried the thing about getting arrows,, it kind a fired a spell on me when i gave it jewels..

I took all of the portable loot and placed it in my own display cases in my in game home.

Souldrinker arrow and Azura's Star make a great combination. It's like having a permanent black soulgem.

Since I do have Midas Spells, it is more worthwhile for me to keep the jewels for that mod, rather than waste them on that statue.

did you guys know that you can steal the posters .. ??the author added a chest inside the wall but you can reach them..

How can you tell you have not even try the other jewel?...I do have Midas Spell as well and I tend to do the same as you...However there are plenty jewels for both...plus it all comes down to how you play your character and what you need at a given time...
To each his own way of playing after all...

That's because you are feeding it with the wrong gems... Try some more (can't recall the ones that work at the moment).

Exactly. After trying the jewels and getting the arrows, then it's over. You don't need to keep on doing that on and on, every time you go into the Guild. There are more important things to do in Lost Spires (like finishing the quest).

But I will make one exception: the cat statue is good for targeted spell practice. I cast Midas Nuclear Blast at it.

Yep, I've actually played Lost Spires through quite a few times all the way to its conclusion. That's why I mentioned using the cat statue as target practice whenever I visit.
