What medium armor has the highest armor rating and what is the rating. I'm not asking for the best medium armor.

hmmm, i think the highest medium i have seen is hmmmmmm. actually i can't really think of to many medium armors, admantium is pretty good. But really i suggest dropping medium armor and picking up heavy and light (as in be good at those instead of medium, but this is my opinion)

The best medium armor is the Ebony Mail and is only given to the master of the tribunal temple. It has anarmor rating of 333 at 100 medium skill.

Adamantium is good, Dreugh is fairly good if you can find it, but i've only found a helm n shield (N i don't use the editor so dunno whats available!!).

I wear some Adamantium, only stat I remember is (Medium Armour skill is between 50/60) Helm has rating of 86

Set wise I believe the red guard stuff from Tribunal was about the best. Either that or Indoril if that's medium..can't remember.

Not positive on the numbers but with my MA skill at 33 adamentium was 40 or so and the red stuff was like 60.

Indoril is Medium, High Ordinator (Her Hand) is Heavy...

Its good armour but if you bump into another ordinator they say that the armour is sacred to their order and attack you....

However I think a quest for King Helseth was mentioned on here where you can get a full set of Royal Guard armour

I think I remember all of the best medium armor. It is Ebony Mail, Admantarian Helm, Ice Greaves, and everything else Royal Guard. The only other thing I think would be a Ice Shield for the shield I believe is the strongest medium armor shield. I think that gives you about 280-300 armor rating with only 150-200 encumbrance points added, which isn't half bad. I don't remember exactly, since I don't really use medium armor that much though.

the best ive seen is my orcish armor lol pretty sad but hey it does look really cool it reminds me of like a samurai style of armor

Well besides the ebony mail, I would have to say that dreugh armor probably ranks very highly after it, and is also quite rare.

You can find a helm and shield of dreugh armor in the armorer's shop in balmora, next to the bookseller shop. They are expensive though. You can also find a cuiress for sure at the bottom of a small pool of water in the ashlander camp burial place thingy. The place you find the bonebiter bow.

Now I can not garantee this next bit of info ... it may have just been lucky random loot. But on the quest where you kill some guy and a daedric deity will give you the oreyn bearclaw helm, well the guy you kill has two guards. One is in full orcash armor or atleast near full orcash armor. The other guy has a full set of dreugh armor on. Mind you that when I say a full set ... I mean just the shield, helm, and cuiress. No other dreugh armor in the game exsists. Although I have also seen a dreugh staff as well. Never tried it though.

A word of advice though. If you get armor that looks nice, then dreugh armor is probably not good for you. In my opinion it looks like PINK dreugh flesh with scars. However it is pretty good quality for a medium armor.
