I just got ahold of the latest iPhone and grabbed a ton of free apps / games.

I like the following freebie games:
  • JawBreaker (a bubble popper)
  • Moonlight Mahjong Lite (although 1/2 the time it causes my iPhone to reboot when I click on it)
  • Lightsaber Unleashed (Star Wars lightsaber effects while swinging)
  • Marble Mash Lite

Say, would it be possible to get these in an iTouch, or would I have to buy a new one? unsure.gif

I have no idea about the "Mac" product line. This iPhone is my 1st experience owning anything from the Steve Jobs arena. I did notice that people said this iPhone was basically an iPod as well but when visiting the AppStore, they specifically say that iPod apps will not work on the iPhone. It seems nothing is really made to be multi-device unless it is re-made as a new app specifically for that device.

I don't even know what an iTouch is but my gut feeling after playing around with this for a few days is that the answer would be "no" but you'd need to do some research for an answer based in fact rather than speculation.

Ah. I see. Well, I'll fiddle around and see what I can do.

iTouch=iPhone without the phone. Its what I make the majority of my posts with, as my title says... rolleyes.gif

I did a little research on the iTouch yesterday after my post. Seemed like they made a smart move by doing that.

I'm quite conflicted with the iPhone G3. It does a lot of things very well but several "buggy" problems are just too irritating to ignore (I won't get into all the problems I having with it here though).

A buddy purchased "Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D" and it looks pretty fun but I wouldn't pay $10 for it because the turn speed seems a bit too far off for me to like it.

With the current 2.0.2 firmware, the applications (games) seem to work fine now. When the apps refuse to start, a reboot now fixes the problem so I assume it is due to memory allocation problems.

My current favorite game now is Jirbo Jive Lite...I figured out a great technique and I have an ongoing game (unlimited time) that I have yet to loose with the score currently around 71,000 points. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Actually, the iPhone 3rd-party apps were not not stable until the 2.1 firmware release.

Are you playing it while you're on your tractor? thumbsup.gif

Mainly on a porcelain tractor that also moves "material" from one spot to another...so I guess the answer is a somewhat yes. hehehe.

Only if you didn't get the joke. Porcelain tractor = toilet.

Well, it doesn't matter which game I liked anymore because all the applications stopped working (again).

EDIT (9/8/2008): Hmmm...I did not re-sync or do anything but my applications started working again by themselves and all my music showed up again. I am really hating this obvious "kill switch" that Apple has on their iPhone.

EDIT (10/02/2008): Since the release of the 2.1 firmware, my applications seem to be working fine now which is currently the record for the longest amount of time running my iPhone without major problems with the 3rd-party apps.

My dad bought an Iphone and bought some rolling ball game, Iball or something.

That poor uninformed guy. wink.gif There are at least two free games that do the same thing: MarbleMash and Labyrinth LE

Have fun with it.

I recently got another fun freebie called CannonGame which is a simple artillery game.

Blue Skies Lite is a fun shooter too.
