I started a virus scan about 35minutes ago, (from this message) and was notified of this.. bizarre warning.

Apparently my firewall has stopped an outgoing attack on a computer? I'm sorry, but how on earth can a computer just make a high risk attack on somebody elses without anyone being behind the computer screen.
Here is the warning that I got:

I AM NOT A HACKER BEFORE ANYBODY COMMENTS!!!

Also, this is a Norton 360 Security Warning.

First of all. I lol'd at your computer name. laugh.gif

Second, its probably being cause by some sort of trojan/virus on your computer. Its trying to spread itself over the internet from your computer. Best bet would be to try to delete/clean the infected file(s).

First of all: I'm glad you liked the name of computer. I really don't know why I named my computer that.

I've been scanning, and I got nothing at all. 357,688 files on my computer. and I have 1 tracking cookie at the most, everytime.

I'm getting the same Low Risk Tracking cookie- I've never had this problem before. and I 've never seen it at all.

Edit: A keylogger

Trojan Vundo is a KEYLOGGER!

Something you might want to try is to find one of the free online scans. The name of the one I use to use escapes me right now. But perhaps someone else will come along and post a couple links. Its just that sometimes different scan programs will find different things. Its at least worth a shot.

Also, try doing a disk clean-up and a separate spyware scan. One might help. And neither will hurt.
