I'm sure some people would like to play a character from final fantasy and whatnot, but why not play a race from final fantasy. Here are the ones I can name of the top of my head.

FFX races
-Ronso: strength and frost resistance boosts.
-Albhed: repair boosts, special weapons, etc.
-guado (I dont know if the spelling is correct but it is the species Seymor is): speech craft and merchantil abilities/boosts

FF9
-black mage: magic stat boosts, negatives on physical strength/endurance

FFtactics/advanced characters races
-mogs: (I know there is an armor set and no way small mogs can be PCs so maybe as a companion)
-etc. (I forget some of them)

FF11 online races

Espers/summons (like in ff4 or 6)

Probably can have some made up races like
-decendants of shiva : specialities in frost/ice stats/attacks/defenses

I made a request to have a ronso race made not that long ago... It seems no one was interested in doing it.

yeah, I'm in the process of learning how to play with blender and such so hopefully I can make these myself. Untill then I hope someone notices

as I said- that one is the armor set I was talking about (or a race+armor mix whatever, neat of the creators to try) but what I mean is more of a mog that matches the original FF image more. Something smaller and more cute.

One advice..., upload picts of the races..., maybe (when you're lucky) someone will make it.., my bet is that the Ronso and the Albhed are the "easyest" to make.., Ronso are just Big purple Kadjid whit a horn and Albhed are just technical inclined humanoids.

I might attempt to create the Ronso race myself since that's the one that interests the most. I'll let you know.

and Ronso, also notice how in this picture the character's horn is broken, usually they are full horns, just his got damaged from a fight. (yes ffx fans I know there is more story to it, but I am keeping this simple).
