Obviously I can get on http://thenexusforums.com/ but, anytime I try to get on http://www.tesnexus.com/, I get this:

Is it just me? Has this ever happened before? I would say I have some sort of browser hijacker, but it only happens on the nexus and my computer has no symptoms of a virus. What are your thoughts on this? I can't look at any mods. sad.gif

Mmk that was fast. smile.gif I found a fix for my problem. It wasnt exactly a virus but someone spoofing the website through the DNS server. If you ever get this problem go here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...n/ms08-037.mspx and just scroll down, select your OS and download and install the fix.

Thank you for your investigative work! I've put a post up on the main site about it because I had the same problem, applied the patch, and it fixed it.

Ahh great, glad I helped. TESNexus seems to be a popular victim to hacks and such. Sure hope it stops.

...it looks like it only happens with IE users and FF users with Megaupload toolbar ( old version, I KNOW )...

It seems to be fixed now - I couldn't access the forums and some files because of this ad yesterday. Nice to be rid of the blonde bimbo at last!

The main site is currently off line, doing a server upgrade. This is the page that I get:

Website offline momentarily
TESNexus is offline for the next 15 minutes while a quick upgrade is made to the server. Thank you for your patience during this time.
The forums are still up smile.gif

Luckily I didn't experience this DNS problem. I avoided it because I had already run Microsoft Update and installed the fix automatically. It was included as one of the Critical Fixes.

FYI, I just got the following three times before I was able to get back in:
