Just a suggestion, maybe you should have waited to post the thread once you have the poem. Now I'm all worked up....the anticipation is killing me!

Let the rain beat against my cheek
Let fate slap me, I won’t even blink
Let the fires escape my soul
Let earth die, I won’t lose control
Let the wind howl and scream in my ear
Let all be dark, I still won’t have fear
Let me sleep in the deadliest forest

Let me listen to kids laugh and bubble

Silence is golden, or so they say
When the wind blows the trees sway
Is there not sound when they dance?
Is there not joy when we find romance?
Silence is golden, how do you figure?
Isn’t it nice to hear the flowing river?
Isn’t there serenity in a storm?
What about music and moving forms?
Silence is golden, this is annoying
Without laughter life would be boring
What would be communication?
Would we have initiation?
Silence is golden? Who said that?
Without sound they couldn’t say crap!
Whoever said that was ignorant indeed
Because silence is not what we need.

Hmmmm, nice, not somethig I'dd do I my time but it's good according to me for it gives one to think about te world a bit in this world consumed by haste.

I hold her in my arms
I look deep in her eyes
Even my cold heart warms
No one or thing could break our ties
