That would easily be the emperor at the beginning of the game. If he would have been wearing some armor and doing SOMETHING to protect himself, you wouldn't have to go trapsin across the countryside having to defend yourself from tons of attacks and also having to kill a bunch of people. He could have use a few sparring lessons while lazing around the castle. What arrogance!!!

The owner of the First edition bookshop in the imperial city is never polite, even after HAVING to buy books off him during missions he always has nasty tone in voice when he says "Goodbye", and Snak gra-Bura from the chestnut stables outside the imperial city is a bit of a bitch too. After she's finished talkin about the life of the citizens also around IC she says "get out of my face" or something like that.......
Good topic for a post but there are hundreds of rude people in Cyrodil, maybe just voice actors getting bored, Couldnt have been more than 10 of them anyway, as everone sounds the same.

There's an Orc who hangs out on the opposite side of town from the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary who threatens to rip my arms off when I walk by. I appreciate the offer, but at night when there are fewer witnesses and guards, he's nowhere to be found. That's just rude.

My friend Bagebus is the rudest person in oblivion. I added a character of him as a CM partner and he won't stop pelting me in the back with death spells. That basterd even does it when I'm the only one around. I think I messed up his aggresion setting but I think it's to damned funny to fix.

Alval Uvani, i think thats his name, that dark elf who basically tells you to bugger off in a colourful way each time you meet him.

he gave me a heart attack once, headset, silence then all of a sudden i hear a really loud, obnoxious "WHAT!?"

personally if i had a problem like his (not saying more ) then i wouldnt be that rude, you never know what might happen to him

u wont see a lot of rude NPCs in my Cyrodiil. Body parts and organs are valuable in my craft. I'll just stalk them to their house, come back at night, steal anything valuable, drink their blood, kill them, skin the body and take all the body parts, organs and bones and leave the body leftovers to be found by the guards in the morning, with blood all over the room, and a head, sitting on top of the bed. A message for all those rude NPCs out there, death approaches........ a painful death.......

I have to agree with LHammonds on this one. I've always found the Emperor very rude, he just sits back there and makes his Blades do all the work for him. Also, he straight up tells you he's been having dreams about you. I would consider that rude if some stranger tells me they dream about me.

Martin isn't much better, though. I'd choose Chancellor Ocato for Emperor any day.

No one is ruder than the Dark Brotherhood khajiit guy. He is just beyond competition. Even Valen Dreth and Yellow Team Champion are beaten by that.

Alval Uvani and Valen Dreth have tourets, The DB khajiit is just an ignorant little sh*t who needs to eat his poisoned apples(I got him to do it eventually...), Chancellor Ocato is a mean b*stard who needs his wings clipping, and Falanu Hlaalu is a creepy pervert. And then there's... Lazare Milvan... ooh... That pompous tw*t didn't last long at all...

I would have to say the Hero of Cyrodiil.

This sucker just goes wherever whenever, enters city residents homes without knocking, kills fur clad people living in tents along the roads, invades tombs of long dead aelids(sp), enters wizards homes without invitation, destroys tribes of goblins who have not attacked anyone, and lastly, the most heinous act, decimates the mudcrab population throughout Cyrodiil.

If that isn't rude, could someone please tell me what is?

Mazoga the Orc, ARRG I hate her so much. "I'm a knight because I said I am!" or something like that. and you cant even hit her because she hangs out around a bunch of gaurds.

Glad someone else noticed this, you can have really high personality and he likes you 100 % but he still says "GOODBYE!" actually played a bit last night and he actually says "GOOD DAY!"

I know of two very rude Npc's in Cheydinhal.

Number one: And orc who just ignores you and says "You are a fly, buzz buzz...hey look everyone im talking to a fly".

Number two: The Guard Captain who says this as soon you talk to him "Get out of my way before i have you in irons."

Those are problaby the most rude npc in my opinion.

No one specific, but what grinds my gears are the people who say "I need to talk to you! It's an emergency!" and then you walk over... "I don't have the time to talk to you right now."

All people with power, like captains, guild leaders, and all those people. I stalk them and kill them.

if anyone is rude to me. i save the game then go on a massecer, starting with the npc who was rude to me- its REALLY fun if they are a important NPC with the |\/\/|(i only started saving cause i killed everyone in Bravil once)

I would have to say the DB kajiit (cant remember his name) is the rudest npc ive encountered in the game so far. When i arrived back in the sanctuary from fort faragutt with my task of the purification. I responded to his peace offering with a good ol' stab in the face with a daedric longsword. (You know that sweeeeet forward power attack you learn when you become a master of blade? I put that right up in his grill.) Also, the mage scholars in the arcane university are pretty rude. they always give you that same snippety little answer. They even blow you off when you're the arch-mage!

All the ogres are openly racist, every time I fight them, "All you human's are the same, raaargh!"

Some of em' lighten up when you're in the fighters guild though, go figure.

In tHE IC, in that first edition, he looks at me and say, "Buy something or get the hell out!" God, how rude.

I absolutely hate Glarthir. He relentlessly stalks you saying "we need to talk!" And what do you get? "We can't talk here."

I'd say any of the bloody bunch who send you on a mission for them and then respond with things like "Oh, it's you" upon your return. hehe

I have to say, with a slight digression, that this was one of my pet peeves in LOTRO (which I no longer play). The NPCs there were really rude even whilst begging your aid!

Suppose most NPC's are rude until you bribe them (hum yes, about that speechcraft...), but the most rude one imo is that... Dark Elf whom you later on murder in a quest.
(He has some kind of schedule - circulating 3 towns, can't recall his name though :x)

I simply hate Ysabel Andronicus, the way she is yelling "start talking!" rally bugs me.

I can handle the rudeness, the nagging, the ignorance but when they threaten me... I'll have none of that "turn you to ashes" or "rip your arms off" stuff said so I try to avoid them until their time has come, as it surely has when they open their big mouthes.

Definetly the guards. "I know your kind you murdering scum!", I just hate it when I get that 'greeting' sometimes, it's simply annoying and outright obnoxious, so what if I killed someone and never got caught and had a bounty on my head. How the hell do they know I did it? Do I have a stamp on my head or something... it's even more annoying on my good characters if I kill an npc by accident, IE the moron jumps infront of my spell/arrow/swing of a sword. That 'greeting' usually gets me in the mood of gutting out the guard on the spot and burning his intestines.. done it.. twice...

You need the no psychics guards mod or does that not have an effect on murder?

They can read your soul, remember? "You're a sneaky looking sort", "You're light on your feet-I bet you're quite the acrobat", "You have the hands of a healer", etc. At least that one's rigged only to occur once per character...

To me, Falcar seems to try hardest. Which isn't to say that he's the most rude, just the most annoying.

that guy in the thieves guild quest that forges notes he is rude but i find him quite funny "why are you talking to me?!" "stop talking to me!"

No, he says "Why are you bothering me? Stop Bothering me!" But it's funny, because it sounds like he's saying "B*ggering" rather than "Bothering"

i'd say the "cast in irons" guy, the "rip your arms off" guy, and any of the shop keepers who say, "buy something or get out!" like Phintias i think his name is??

I go around hitting all of there merchandise to the floor and trashing the place before i proceed to kill them and bath in there blood. too bad i can't sleep in there bed too. someone should make a mod like that though. Where you can sleep in ANY bed you want, Whether it's owned or not
