Also i think a gud idea wud be to allow the player to ride on eagle back during the game.
They wouldn't have to fly high. It wud just be a great experience viewing middle earth from a birds eye view

What reason would an Eagle have to give the PC a ride?
In The Hobbit, the Eagles were checking what sort of trouble the orcs and worgs were up to, and rescued the company of adventurers only to spite them (the orcs and worgs, not the thirteen).

Also, Eagles do not give rides to everybody and anybody...
I think that you would have had to have done something really really important to be able to ride on an Eagle's back.
Also, it could be considered a form of fast travel, and if you had read the FAQ and 'Daerk on...' threads you would have known that fast travel is not going to be availiable in MEMod.
So please read the FAQ and 'D on...'

How would it be considered fast travel, Ancalagon, when you're actually riding the eagle in real time, looking down on Middle-earth from a birds eye view, as he said?
Anyway, congrats with the promotion!

Thanks, well, it may be considerd fast travel. Buit perhaps nomore than riding a horse...but if it is implemented I don't think just anybody could hop on an Eagle's back and take off. You'd have to be well known or on good standing with the Eagle Lord himself...
but it is and isn't fast travel...
It is in that you can get from a specific place to another place in a relativley short amount of time, but it isn't since there is no load screen (if it is made real-time...if it is made at ALL!)
hrm, hoom, I say not ot be hasty and wait...

I must admit, 'Gwahir's taxi service' sounds rather out of place in such a canonical endeavor. After all, Gandalf only gained his friendship upon offering a great service. And as Eagles are indeed Manwe's favored creatures it is doubtful that the reigning Lord of the Valar would yield their services so haphazardly to a mere commoner.
Interesting question, nonetheless...

I tyhink that eagles should be included, but you'd only be able to see them if you found the mountain that they lived on, and climb it. You wouldn't be able to ride them, but you would be able to talk to them if they respected you. This would probably be way too much work for Daerk and the team, and would significantly delay the final release of the MEMod. This could however be a mod later added to MEMod.

Stefanzhr, if something is in the book... fits in the timeline... and is in the area MEMod is currentally doing then it will be in it.
