I have noticed that a fair few people have mentoined writing books and stories on this and other forums, have any of you ever written or published one, and if so, where?

Everybody (almost) wants to write a book. Some start, some just threaten.
Truth: At an unpublished writer's convention, in Fantasy/Science Fiction category, two years in a row, I came in third place.
Submitted manuscript, and got a rejection slip...told me I needed to go into more detail.
Well, at least I did more than many have....and have a rejection slip to prove it.
Oh, got to meet some published writers and had them sign books for me. My favourite, by a romance novel writer: "I'll never forget the wonderful time we had in the back room."
...we had a long, wonderful talk, you nasty minded people.
