a huge vampire vs. Lychen war/romance outside of Cyrrodil (compatability issues [THANKS DEATHLESS!]) for the player to go through. our good friend Simyaz, creator of TOTF, Malevolent, and a few other rediculously good and in depth companion/quest mods made me realize that with a lot of hard work, my mod is indeed possible. with all luck, there would only be a few new meshes/textures to make that haven't already been created. just need to get permission from a couple different people first.
the quest, like simyaz does, would be broken in to a couple different paths. one good, one bad, on nuetral, each with an option to turn either way in every single line of dialogue. also, you can chose which side you take. the freedom fighting Lychens, the blood-lusting Vampires out for domination, or the one man army known as the champion of cyrrodil. a human. all sides will have completely different paths, each with their own ending.
the good side for the Vamps: survive one bloody and horrific battle against the Lychens (it's gunna be so big it gets its own name
) the player would become hateful for the merciless slaughter of all but one the dying or defenseless Lychens administered by your own kin. horrified, they will flee to the Lychens and plead to be accepted as one of the pack and take action to free the lone haustage (the player if Lychen will be the haustage. Blitzkrieg is the name of the NPC, but it doesn't have to be that for the player. Vampires never address Lychens by name). you will become a hero among the Lychens and their head shaman (if you nailed all the right text options) will cure your curse of the sun, and give you Lychanthropy. you'll remain human like when you transform, but your powers will be tremendous. (i think that a once a day power would suffice for this one as far as leveling goes)The bad side for the Vamps: continue in the war and slaughter and eventually become the god among vampires. this'll have some crazy benefits for our evil doers. don't worry, the quest will be just as long either way the player goes, good or evil.
unfortunately, that's as far as i dare go with all this. if someone was so inclined to be a dishonest ass, they could easily take this and turn it in to a mod, but it wouldn't be anything like the finished product that i invision. they'd be missing way too much.
