Heres the deal, lots of people seem to dislike see threads of W.o.W mods, weather it be for swords or armour. This thread is for W.o.W mods, feel free to suggjest or post about W.o.W mods here without people putting you down because of its a W.o.W item. Theres only acouple rules...

RULES!!!
1) Dont put down/ or harrass people... (kind of a given there)
2) Search before you post (for mod requests anyways)
3) if you have a mod request for an item please be sure to post nice and clear images for people to use as a refrence.

This is a lovely idea, I hate when people criticize ideas, personally I am not a fan of WoW, but hey I support this thread 110% just because I hate when people criticize something. If its some fair constructive criticism I don't mind but otherwise I hate it.

I don't see what your problem is with WoW. Love it or hate it you should respect it. WoW has brought mmo's to the masses and has revolutionized the gaming industry. Warcraft also has a rich and beautiful lore granted WoW has put a Sh*t stain on it. Finally love or hate the game some of the weapons and armor are really bad*ss.

On topic I have a request. The most bad*ss sword to ever be put into the WoW universe Thunderfury. For this I would like to see a 1 handed version

Both those swords are the same sword Thunderfury. The first one is what it looked like in the beta game the second one is the one actually implemented in the final cut but I likes the old one better.

Funny thing is that "claymore" is one handed in WoW. I would love to see these put into Oblivion.....Ah the good old days of WoW when owning Thunderfury was a mark of status in your realm. I still use it on my Warrior to tank lower level raids, Works wonders in Kara, then again in full sunwell I could use a skinning knife to tank hehe

new animations would need to be worked out with that.

If I understand what your saying properly not really. I have a script I use in CS that makes one handed swords sheath to your back instead of your side. To make what I said earlier sound clearer the claymore looking version of thunderfury is a one handed sword, just a really big fraking one handed sword.

I would only ever consider playing that game because of South Park. But what is it $30 US forget that...

Yknow.. I haven't visited the forum sometime, but this topic caught my attention, AND made me post. I have been dying to see more WoW/Warcraft mods here. Therefore I have but one request :

I want the Lich King's armor you can see in Warcraft III. Frostmourne already has been made, and the mount aswell. Only the armor lacks..

And as for WoW... hmm ... The warglaives would be cool... but that's not possible.. so.. umm.. how about The Ashbringer ? That would be uber-cool !

You've said it! Mostly everything in WoW is pretty simple, you could count the polygons of mostly every piece of equipment on your hands . Especialy the swords, the guys that're designing them probably have the words "Gotta make things flat" impressed on their skulls.

How about making playable Trolls? That would be a development.

I know it'd be pretty tough, but I generally tire to see the same tired recoloured elves/bretons as races... That's why I like Slof's Xivilai and Dryads, even if I don't use them that much.

Um actually someone's made the warglaives but their not the warglaives of azzinoth their the red fiery ones used by the illidari demon slayers. The mod's not up right now though, it got taken down temporarily to be updated. Right now it's on file front but I think their adding one here soon.

The Ashbringer is already uploaded as a resource here on Nexus. I already made the sword playable....also made a texture for it....but unfortunately it doesn't look like that one.

I will look for the model in my comp then upload it here...maybe someone will make a texture .

Btw Naminea...I completely finished The Hungering Cold...UV Mapped the model again (now with easier map ) and I am getting ready to try again to texture it. If I won't texture it untill that fellow arrives...I will upload it on Nexus as a resource. I made 2 Nif files: 1 handed and 2 handed.
