Here's my idea:

I think that they could easily make an awesome movie out of StarCraft, and maybe a sequel out of the expansion. I know that they released a DVD with alll of the cinematics, but not an actual movie...........

ooo, interesting question, well for starters id like to see a QUALITY D&D movie made, the one previously made was just so incoherent and quite frankly a heaping pile of crap, next id like to see mech warrior put in to a movie, even though they alredy are im just not very patient..., next call me obsessed but id love to see a the elder scrols 3 put in to a movie it just seems like it would be an epic (possibly cheesy) picture some what reminicent of brave heart but insted of a william walace character youd have the nerevar, finaly a new matrix like movie, not a new matrix but one with similar effects, no need for a good plot just the wicked effects, even mabey a mid-evil or even modern times setting for it, id like to see sword, or even a flail in matrx or even better guns and mid-evil weponry with matrix effects, sorry i just love that slow-mo effect, oh i ust thought of another movie idea,..... a warhammer (of the game) it would just be the coolest movie to date, if you dont belive me go look up games workshop online and try to tell me otherwise....

I too have been thinking of a Starcraft movie... There is enough information to from an indepth plot and storyline. It could maybe have Zerg verse Protoss.

Great games, but the deep detail of starcraft would make a hell of a movie, love, hatred, friendship, betrayal and all of that stuff. Perfect for a movie.

I would like to see Ender's Game [book, not a game] made into a movie. Probably not the sequels, because they are extremely boring [plot-wise, informationally very interesting]. Let's see......even though they tried, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy would make a good movie, as the book is very confusing, and I believe a movie would be able to explain things much better. Hmm......Baldur's Gate I and II would make good movies, but they are way too long [maybe a quadrilogy.] Any more suggestions?

Maybe Dead to Rights, but that is like a movie in itself because it is so plot-entailed. or, maybe, Mechassault, because it was cool.

Apocalyptica...without a doubt. The game was released on 24th October in Europe (I believe its only just being released in the US now) under a veil of shadow, and still hardly anyone knows of this 3rd person, Unreal Tournament look-a-like game.

Read through the storyline and character bios and you'll get an idea of the game and its depth...it really is good fun to play just to see the cinematics and work out all the twists and turns.

Have to agree with the Starcraft movie. I would love to see that.
Call of Duty- I know there are a lot of WWII movies, but I still luv 'em.
Unreal Torunament- BOOM!!!!!

Slaiv- They are making a Enders Game movie, but its being made by Disney, so it might suck.

With that said, I just thought of another one-- Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

That would be kind of interesting; it has more of a plot than most FPS games.

Oh, and do you know of any sites that have information on the Ender's Game movie?

I would love a Diablo movie, the manual of Diablo 1 was full of wonderful background stuff, yes I want that.

enders game- i read that a little while ago, i thought it was really good, thats cool that its being made into a movie,ill definitly have to see that, as long as disney doesnt mess it up



Unreal Tournament- you could make it a movie, you have almost a limitless array of plot lines, its completely open for the writer, you could have a story of an upcoming rookie slowly climbing his way up the ladder of brutality, to finally face the one undefeatable foe. the aging champion, the guy that wants out. you just have to invent a story to go with it.


blizzard always makes come high quality games, and pretty much all of their computer games/worlds could be made into an excellent movie, further showing their talent.

METAL GEAR SOLID. The plot was so riveting...i was like "yikes!" And the villains(ie Psycho Mantis) genuinely scared the crap out of me, too. MetaL Gear Solid 2: Sons of LIberty could probably make a good movie as well, but people would get really pissed off at the ending(I won't give it out here as it is a huge spoiler for the game). Those would definitely be my 2 must-sees. And how about a Deus Ex movie? Or are they already making one?

From what I can tell Warner Brothers is making the movie, not Disney. And Orson Scott Card is completely involved in it. See here for more information.


Oh, and do some reading about the game Advent Rising. Its screenplay [storyline] is written by Card; it seems like it would make a great movie [it's not out yet.]

...Warner Bros. essentially is Disney. Owned by about the same people.

Yes, they are making a trilogy of Advent Games. And they look sweet.

But back on topic.....

I doubt they are owned by Disney. Disney isn't doing to well right now......sure, their plays on Broadway are doing great, but the movies aren't, especially the animated ones. Pixar has removed its affiliations with Disney. And films are basically what Disney is. Warner isn't owned by Disney [I believe], seeing as they are doing rather well.......

Yeah, I see comercials for disney movies like that new BS "Lion King 1.5" and i think 'what a stupid way to try and make money. Its not gonna groce much. ' and also 'that didn't happen, no way. I remember. This takes all the meaning out of the orriginal.' And it's BS. but, anyway, sorry because that is OT.
