I was wondering if anyone was able to make a mod to change the life detect from a purple cloud to infrared/heat vision as the cloud looks ugly. Being able to see like a preditor would be alot cooler.

There aren't any infrared mods for Detect Life, and I'm not sure it's doable satisfactorily at all, but there are quite a lot that change the Detect Life shader. Aznar's Life Detection, Kasdar's Detect Life Shader, GW71 Life Detect, Geno's Life Detect Mod, DarkTyrian's Detect Life X-Ray Vision, and Neela's Detect Life Changer are a few.
