I am trying to make a Misc. Item stationary so that I don't keep knocking things over! For instance, I have a couple of planters by the front door and keep knocking them over. The same is true x 10 for books.

I have tried making new "Static" objects using their .nif's; I have tried making containers out of them, and activators--but I can still knock them over. JQ made some beautiful display pedestals, but they are a bit top heavy and I find them nearly impossible to work with in game. Again, I keep knocking them over.

I am relatively new at modding, so I am months or years away from being able to edit .nif files to fix them the way that I want.

Is there any way to make truly "Static" objects out of common objects without editing .nif files?
