If you study your map you will see that you have not explored every passage. Kwama can swim, you know. I do not know why you cannot kill anything.

that quest isnt necessary. you can choose no to do it and tell your quest giver that, but she loses some disposition to you. you still get the next quest.

It IS necessary if you want the 1,000 gold from Avon Oran for not killing the Queen. And then another 500 from Dorvayn for killing the Kwama anyway. Avon Oran is in his manor in Suran, on the hill surrounded by a wall.

The queen is in the far right chamber. The passage to the left is a dead end. Swim through the water in the left passage and take the far passage, as far right as you cab go. The small passage by the chamber entry takes you to a dead end. The queen is at the end of the right-most tunnel.

Kill it and report back to Dorvayn. This option -killing the queen AND accepting Oran's gold- raises her Disposition by 10 and your Reputation by 1 and your Hlaalu Reputation by 5.

There is no choice to skip the quest at all. You get a straightforward journal entry and you go from there without options of skipping.

The queen is through an underwater tunnel.
