People didnt respond because they were a either doing something, dont care, dont like it, or arent here I like his request but from what I have learned from my mod requests they are probably to hard or just well darn impossible.

Lol!, if you look closely enough, it will seem like that armor evolves into a better rank per picture.

Jun 25 2008, 03:21 PM
Why do you have to look closely to see that....

ANYWAY
Back on topic of the armors
You gotta admit they are cool and you want at LEAST one of them done

I like all of them, except the first one. They fit into the game well enough. The first one is a little too modern. The photo of the real armour looks like it would suit a dremora. As they say on the other forums, "bump"

They are cool armour designs, I'm working on an evil mod at the moment including creatures and armour sets at the moment. Mine aren't quite as bulky as those pictured though, due to limitations of the Biped proportions in Oblivion. Getting big breast-plates and shoulders to work with the animations is quite a pain. If I pull my finger out and do some more work on it, I might start posting some more info

.

Wow

. My ninja armor mod was much easier to make than that. Those armors are insane. But there cool

.
It'll take some good modders

Insane but....Would you not like to go walking around the IC in the armor in the last pic?
Cmon admit it
It would be awesome

Your perception of difficulty seems to be a bit off. Take what you're thinking about the difficulty, try to convert it into a number
And multiply it with 129.
Then double it up again. After that you finaly might start getting close.

inkheart449: Yes, I had a look at Pale_Riders excellent armour meshes while working out rigging, I have the meshes, textures and rigging mostly complete, I just need to polish it up to a releasable standard and make the actual mod around the assets (dungeon, quest and the like).
ihateregisteringeverywhere: It isn't so much difficult as it is tedious, once assets are made getting them to work properly in Oblivion is a lot of trial and error (for me at least

).

How about a great suggestion to go along with this:
- Leveling/Evolving Armors-
These armors are one of a kind, very rare, very expensive, since they level/evolve themselves, they are 'living' meaning they also need to take life or magicka away from the host.
Imagine a Parasite armor, draining a bit of life, magicka, but boost stamina, and your overall stats.

So your standard evolving item

I think it's stupid
We make so many suggestions yet no one even glances at the threads
I mean i know they are busy but they could at LEAST put some thought into it

well thats because on W.A.R. (warhammer age of reconing) if you play as the chaos champion thats what is supposed to happen to the armors (or you buy/find the bits but I duno since it isnt out yet)
