it exhibbits irony. im makeing fun of the newbies that post here, not malicious or anything, and the people who reply to it.

It's spamming but I was feeling benevolent. However anyone attempting to be funny should remember that not everyone shares the same sense of humour. Don't forget the printed word gives no indication of the way you meant it to sound. And if as you say it is intended satirically, I am not sure who would like to be definite about where satirical becomes unkind. (Why do you feel the need to mock newbies when we encourage people to introduce themselves here?) Jokes on these forums, even some of mine, have prompted surprisingly heated responses. We all need to be just a bit more careful in print, Breton Thief.
