Well, i have made a character and then changed their race to a modded race. The new race has very unreal character stats: 100 strength and intelligence at level 5.... taking all the fun out of the game, anyway, i know how to raise my character stats, but how do i lower them? pls help

Use a - sign in front of the number you would use to raise it.

my game usually crashes if i try to lower my stats, so onething you can try to do is boost them above 255 so they reset.
