Can anyone point me to a shop thyat sells everything I mislaid stuff i nicked early ib the game and cant progress in some side quests. they may have been taken when i was accosted by the law. Has anyone invented mods to get round such problems.

You can go in the CS and place the item you need in what ever city/town/camp/building that you are in. You can also replace people, but if you give your self too much (as in- enough to beat the game) it just wont be any fun. At least for me, I like a challenge in the game. Anything taken if you are arrested will be in the evidence chests usually in Imperial Forts. You can pick the locks to get them back.

How quickly does the loot disappear? The next time you are arrested for a crime, or after a couple of days?

Personally, my advise is, DONT GET ARRESTED!

Piece of advise, get the amulet of shadows. It makes you invisible for 60 seconds, can be used about 4 times a day. After using it, if you hold sneak, no matter where you are, no one can see you, EVEN SMACK INFRONT OF SOMEONE!!! If you dont know where to find it, go to spoilers, go into the topic called "glass armour" and find my really long post telling how to get glass armor. The first Step that I explain is how to get the amulet. Good luck getting your stuff. And next time you steal, just use the amulet and they cant see you, let alone put you in jail.
