okie...I figured out how to make the sword...kinda redundant seeing as I already had it...how do I place it?
cmac
I just made the mod--download it below. You can get the weapon by typing in
CODE
Player->additem, "steel dai-katana_b" 1

am I able to use TESCS to place it? if so how?.. uh unless that was the last on the matter, I don't mind if it is because I've gotten what i asked for...

thanks again!
Xeniorn
Of course you can use TESCS to put it into game, with TESCS you can do almost anything. Read the tutorial in TESCS help.

...I think you won't need any extra explanation after you have read it. smile.gif

Wait are you asking if you want to place the item in the render window or the Picture in the object?
travnape
I think he wants to know how to place the item in the actual game so someone who plays the mod can pick up his item. You simply take your item (along with it's assigned graphic so it looks like the item it is) and go to the cell you want to place it in, and simply drop it in and possition it where you want. You can also just drag it onto the contents box of a container you have opened the propery box on.

One question I have is though... how do you place an object such a a sword mounted above a fireplace so that once you take the item it will not return?
Xeniorn
What do you mean, travnape?

well whenever I place an item such as a weapon in the area. i can go and take the item, save the game, and when I load the game again the item is still in my inventory but has respawned in the area again. how do we resolve this?

Untick the box "refferences persist" in the weapons properties !!!
