I use Safari, an browser by Apple, that was made for Apple computers, but also works on Windows. This is, imo the fastest browser out there. (That I know of).
I used to use Firefox, but I've gotten a popup "virus" on my internet explorer, and when I use Firefox, those popups pops up (Though they are still Einternet Explorer windows) :S

Ahh I use Internet Explorer, I just don't like the Layout of Firefox, and though I have tried Safari I find the Layout too small. Plus I know how to do more on Internet Explorer and I can't be bothered to learn Firefox.

I happen to like IE 7.0, even with its tattoos & scars

It is a vast improvement over IE 6.0, and I tend to believe that PC users would favor it more if it were less of a target for hackers. Fortunately, Microsoft keeps abreast of the situation and issues security fixes. One was issued this week, btw.
Edit - KageWarrior, thanks. I like your comment.

With the explosive growth of Firefox Microsoft had to do something. Not having a pop-up blocker and not having tabed browsing made IE6 an antiquated browser.
Still, I prefer FF. Better layout, more convinient and more secure* makes it my browser of choice.
* The added security comes in part from the fact that 80-90% still use IE, so hackers will primarily target that browser ...

IE is installed by default on computer (and I never delete it, I don't know why) but I use Firefox.
And with firefox you can set a Guinness World Record look here:

I use Firefox at home because of its extensions, such as noscript and adblock, which I can increase the performance and loading times, plus block some pornography.
While at work I use internet explorer because of some government sites that insist in building pages with scripts and things that can only be supported on MS browser.

Firefox is amazing, and much more user friendly than IE7. I used to have a ton of unneeded crap in my toolbars before I switched to Mozilla. With Firefox, all I have is the address bar, a row of bookmarks, and a search engine. I love the organization of it all. The download window is really cool too. I like being able to view the progress of all of my mod downloads in one small box.
The most interesting feature is the the ability customize your browser. I find that Firefox blends almost perfectly with the flashy Windows Vista design.
EDIT I almost forgot about tabs! The tabs feature has got to be the best! I can have so many things open at once.

IE never worked correct from the beginning. now webdisigners must add hacks so sites are viewed properly in both browsers
firefox is much faster. and if you dont like the layout(WTF?) u can use an addon that transforms firefox to look like IE. and in firefox you can see all the errors in a web page (good for designers)
FF FTW!

Safari on Windows; so that's under 'Others' for me then! Very much prefer the uncluttered look as opposed to having launchers, shortcuts and buttons all over the place that don't seem like they visually mesh well together as seen in the other browser I previously used. Functionally, it's an upgrade in organisation for me as it has a sexy looking in-built download window monitor, a more pleasing to the eye and user friendly bookmarking management (similar to iTunes) and ease of standard search/usage of basic functions.
Technically I'm unsure whether there's any sort of major speed performance increase in browsing; I can't discern the difference in that context. I am happy though as there does seem to be an inkling of it. Apple does claim that it is "the fastest web browser on any platform", and I'm slightly partial to that statement considering I've experienced using four different browsers whilst still on the same high speed cable plan.

I use FireFox because the black skins are great for my light-sensitive eyes. I also like some of the add-ons, but most important for me is the black skin and dark color themes.

How can you support Apple's Safari? They are becoming as bad as Microsoft in using existing strangleholds to push their other products. By this I'm talking about things like Quicktime player bundled with iTunes, and then iTunes updates that by default install Safari.
The Justice Department needs to stomp them like they did with Microsoft and hit them with an anti-trust suit.
As for the topic of this thread, I suggest that everyone not become a "fan-boy" of any one browser. Things constantly change and competition is good for innovation.

can't I vote the worst?

I've read some issues with Safari. But the one I don't care at all is IE. Sadly I must have it for one or two reasons (read stupid sites), and IE7 despite the fancies, for its 'innovation' tabs (so MS advertise this).
The nowadays better browser is indeed Firefox. You can say I'm a lot biased here and you will be right.
I don't like impositions, I don't like being monitored. I use windows only when I play games or need something related, as TES-CS. So I said

Used Opera since 97/98, all others pale by comparission. So much quicker and efficient on resources, if only it was free from the start more people would use it.

IE7. I tried FF a couple of years ago, but some pages only seemed to work with IE, and I don't like having to switch back and forth when browsing... With IE7's inclusion of a tab feature and universal functionality I can put up with its negatives (for now).

I guess it shouldn't be surprising that Firefox is in the lead - people creating/installing mods are more likely to stray away from what's just given to them and choose a better browser

Love to browse the Firefox add-ons page for new neat plug-ins.

I ditched IE as an internet browser long ago (Netscape 3 era, I believe). Settled on Firefox when it first came out (after looking at the others available at the time) ... it's fast and light and customizable. Any site that doesn't support it should not expect to see me back. I do use IE but only for selected tasks, like accessing my router and other devices, just so I don't have to wade through a ton of internet bookmarks .. but that's just laziness on my part.

I prefer FireFox. I like the ability to add new and useful extensions with minimal effort. The extensions are what makes the browser. However, there's another issue that gives it even more of an advantage:
I dislike IE, not for it's usability, but for its destabilizing effect on Web browsing, lack of intricate control of critical browser functions, and hokey attempt at security. Intentionally skirting standards in order to push out competing products harms everyone.
As a Web designer, I'm sick and tired of having to compromise my code based on things that break only in a certain browser.
FireFox was made to follow standards. Opera does this well too. Unfortunately, IE was made to do whatever the hell it wanted to, and damn the consequences.
I develop with IE users in mind, but only because I have to.
Hopefully, the new version of IE (yet to be released) will be standards compliant, as promised, and this will allow for easier development cross-browser.

I use firefox, not because it's so good, it's not, but the others are so bad. I used opera before, but it's really bad now, uses up to much processor power, even when i have exited opera it uses 50%, that's bad.Internet explorer? Don't get me started, the worst browser in the universe, I really hate it!

Let's see... Most votes (and my vote too) for Firefox. Tesnexus seems to have SMART members!
I respect Safari & Opera, but prefer FF as most adjustable browser. And I pretty sure, that Internet Explorer is one big security hole.

FF is the only browser that displays MOST pages as they should look. But it's a pity that FF is SO CPU hungry... (X_X)
