The summer is finally upon us. Summer started for me on the 23rd of May when my university year ended; the exam period over and all my coursework handed in I could kick back and relax for a while. I had a great birthday week with two other friends sharing the same birthday week. Needless to say there was much drinking and merriment as we celebrated our respective birthdays in undignified ways.
I'm a bit of a one-track pony and like to tackle one major task at a time, both in life and in my coding for TESNexus. As such the next major blip on my radar is moving out of my current student house back to my parent's home in Torquay next week. Once that's done I'll be in the same place until mid September and can get into a steady routine of casual work and play. I have
The To-Do List of Love to look to for coding to do on the site as well as quite a few things I have to handle on the business side of things, like filing the first accounting figures and paying my first set of corporation tax. So don't forget there's more to the site than just pieces of code and new features!
On the gaming side I am still heavily involved in and enjoying Eve Online which has just had a new free expansion added to the game while I casually play through Dungeon Siege 2 again (haha, yes, truly) and await the content rework for The Witcher. Summer is all about the casual pick-up-and-play games, like Dungeon Siege 2 that you can play to escape the sun for an hour before getting out there and soaking it all up again. And believe me, with the unpredictable nature of the English summer you've got to take every opportunity you can in the sun!
Have a good summer and remember to get out in the sun every once in a while.

Now, I'm officially over with my exams, too, and not with bad results at all!
I'll get out in the sun once in a while, but here in Hungary, the sun is getting to be a killer nowadays, when it shines, it is well over 30 degrees Celsius; and, to top it off, I have a sensitivity to sun, like I can barely keep my eyes open when out, even if I'm not staring in the direction of the sun.
So, much of the time, I'll stay indoors and enjoy the possibility to play as much as I wish

You all make me feel old.
Anyone that can code, blog, mod, play, school, webmaster, etc. has my respect. I'm lucky if I can remember what day it is.
Happy Summer!

I'm going to Australia this summer, but I will still be on The Forums then.
I'm finally done with my finals today.

Emperyian Age is a wicked Ex-Pack for EVE, dude. Mind you, I have only been playing a week, but I love it. If this love of the game continues I will be able to officially call myself a former WoW-turned-EVE Convert

(Just got my shiny new Caracal a day ago, missile boat ftw!)

I haven't been able to try the factional warfare in Eve due to real-life commitments but can't wait. I'm 3 days off flying a T2 fitted Falcon with good EWAR skills

Sun? Oh, I know what you mean. Sorry, but I don't think the Sun exists where I am. There's the newspaper, but not the Sun Sun. ^^

Well, my summer is good so far. However, it's winter down here where I am; the land Down-Under!
DarkOne, once I get EVE, you and I should team up. Maybe you could help me, a poor and lonely newbie...

(on EVE that is).
Oh, and mosizibby, if you're reading this, I can now say that I HAVE been kissed Down-Under... SCORE!
Cheers Mate,

floydian's latest comment about the foreigner thing is a little too american if you ask me. i'll never understand the need to impose on others to form fit their personal culture to foreign cultures. with that said, it's not because your foreign that the japanese culture doesn't appease you. it's because of their own culture. not directly approaching conflict and passively offering concerns is what they do simply because as a society they developed that way. not because your foreign. they treat everyone with that same distinction, the difference is that you don't know how to take it. sure, it's a little silly to expect something of others when they don't know any better but even the japanese aren't aware of this seeming arrogance.
some are, some aren't. kinda like america and your president, some people are aware of his actions over seas while others simply put blind faith in politics to work it's own stuff out. (not the norm, people. okay, maybe in canada but elsewhere, not so much.)
it's not because your foreign. it's because that's just how they are.
