With all the modding options and specializations out there this is an idea I'm throwing out for a five part mod that would create a new mission/expansion.
The premis is simple, Take the Akatosh Mount By Saiden Storm R19, a few creatures/liches/whatever your imagination thinks is most appropriate for the job, and creat a story line.
Basic Idea: being able to ride a drake is cool, until you are no longer alone, From the depths of some unknown hell comes a band of the original drake riders. They have been waiting and watching for years for such a time to come as this. The time is right after the completion of the main quest, when the worlds forces are at their weekest after barely saving their world once, and loosing the last of the kings. What better time then now to strike and pillage the world.
Step 1
The chosen monsters are obviously going to have to be mounted on drakes.
Step 2
Figuring out how to make thier drakes retextured to have an undead or generally dark and evil look to them.
Step 3
AI Making the monsters smart enought to not dismount and cast spells from their drakes.
Step 4
Making the monsters with 250 skill points in agility, the purpose for this is so that if the drake is killed the rider has a good chace to still live after falling from it.
Step 5
Storyline, possible location of origins, who knows, icing basicly.
This will allow players to find a whole knew way of playing when now even they must fear the air and the possibility of an arial bumbardment, or even a possible dogfight type functionallity.
If this is a dumb idea I do appolojise, please don't flame me. I am not a modder. This just seemed like an appropriate place to throw this idea out. I have read many posts where the modders say they won't take on a requested mod because it is too juvanile or only good for a few minutes. So I thought I'd come up with a real challenge that could potentially turn out well...
