I live in Bromsgrove in the midlands, I was just wondering if anyone else lives in the midlands and if so which part and do you like it?

In my opinion I hate my area, it is full of chavs, crime, and has nothing to do for kids and teenagers. Also I hardly know anyone there and I have lived there all of my life! True half of them are chavs but still. So do any of you live in the Midlands, England and what are your views?

My only experience of the Midlands (apart from a good mate/room-mate I had whilst living in Brighton who was from there) was the time the bloody idiots at British Rail got me stranded there on Xmas Eve whilst journeying from Brighton back home to Wallasey, Merseyside. heh. I had a 24 piece dinner service, gaming console and numerous other gifts and could barely walk for all of it. I couldn't find any hotels or what not and ended up spending the night in a police cell! They were really nice to me and the next day I ended up having to hitch-hike (my one and only time and that was interesting, hitchiking Xmas day in the rain) but apart from that all I remember is tons of motorway and concrete.

Oh and don't you all have the worst accent for we Brits?

I live on the borders of Scouseland. And i, oddly enough, find a midland's accent to be disturbingly attractive. But then... I find many things disturbingly attractive.

And finding the Midlands accent attractive..... IS disturbing. hehe

I would actually prefer to live elsewhere than the Midlands. I hate it here!

I find the scouse accent disturbingly attractive too, so, unless your Mum is in her 80s, best i dont take you up on your kind invite. Sometimes i just cant help myself. However , I find that very elderly ladies are quite immune to my very obvious charm ... as in, unsubtle. See right through me.

Hahahah, this made me chuckle. Well my Mum turns 60 in December and she would eat you alive so umm, make of that what you will. hehe

Upon further consideration...I've just had a look at yer profile. If i had showed up for tea, and then things had gone pear shaped, you'd only come after me and beat on me or... something. Old fellas like me can take no end of being eaten alive, but...brittle bones, ya know...beating plays havoc with 'em
