the vampire-wannabes had an unexplainable tendency to get into screaming arguments (in character)
Were they saying anything interesting, or was it all "lightning bolt! lightning bolt! lightning bolt!"?
The "lightning bolt!" people are the AMTGARD crew, and they don't work well in urban areas... they need a lot of open space.
I just remember there was one seriously screechy-voiced female who looked like Siouxsie Sue after way too many lasagna dinners (pale makeup, black clothes, silver jewelry, cottage-cheese thighs), who would shriek at the other players in a voice that would incite the neighborhood dogs into barking. Since I wasn't involved in their game, I don't recall any of her conversation topics, but I remember someone mentioning that she played a Tremere (I've seen the p-n-p rulebook for Vampire, so I know the basic gist of the game-setting).
Knuckleheads ruined a really good place to hang out, drink coffee, read, and play pinball.
