I'm making an exploding body finishing move spell, but I want more ambiance and control of the environment. I suck at exteriors/interiors and would appreciate someone making an Oblivion type arena. thanks.gif

In truth, I never played the game. I'm working of descriptions from others. But basically the plan is....

You cast a fireball at your opponent. Instantly you are teleported to the Oblivion "arena". Your opponent stiffens and catches on fire, while a column of fire builds up from the ground. After a few seconds, there is a large explosion where your opponent is turned into flying, flaming body parts. You then return to your previous location.

Um... That makes no sense, and would be kinda pointless since it would essentially be an instant kill, and you would lose anything which was on that opponent. And even if that was what you were after, why bother with the teleporting bit?

I just thought moving to the other cell would add ambiance. As for the exploding body...request for the spell in Diablo 2 expansion cinematic.

The spell would be a power to compensate for instant kill, and I could have the inventory dropped on the ground. I'm not locked down on this one, and open to more suggestions.

I doubt that kind of spell exist in the actual gameplay of diablo2, but cinematical spells seems odd to use, not only that, but uses up alot of resources too.

I'll have to search for the YouTube vid and mod.

As for the cinematics, that is where the spell was seen in Diablo 2. I can make a normal use version that is not resource intensive.
That was another reason for the "arena" cell, to reduce the number of processes in the active cell at the time of the spell.
