Oblivions outside (ie. non-interior textures) world has big gaps or water or land that you just fall through there are doors that still work hangin out of mid air sans building. I have tried changing load order and discontinuing conflicting Mods, I know I can fix it with a re-install, but I would like to know what happened so I can avoid it in the future. If some-one thinks thay can help I'll provide a complete list of Mods on request. I don't want to undo everything I have done just to have it happen again so please help.

It is probably some mod you added. A load order might help. But why not just disable the last five or six mods you installed and see if that helps. Also, look at the locations where the problem happens and see what mods change that area.

Often holes in the scenery are caused when 2 mods each try to mod the same world space. Each one mods a part and the parts don't match up.

There is a way to reinstall without loosing everything. PM me and I'll send you my procedure if you think you need it.

I'm currently loading it up a little at at time. Trying to get the land to reestablish itself but even just starting with the basics doesn't fix the problem so I might just give your method a shot thanx.

You can call this topic finished I just deleted everything in my My Games folder and restarted Oblivion without anything else selected it reset the whole thing. thumbsup.gif So now I just load up all the non-conflicting MODs that I want and am careful with the load order of the mild to moderate conflicts. Then I work at renaming and rerouting or even moving reference points on the map or interiors and altering what terrain two MODs meet at so that they don't connect. It's a real learning experience, but I am a quick study and I'm burning through with the help of these boards and the tutorials that are out there. biggrin.gif
