Hi all,
I finished both main quests way back and haven't played for some time. However, I want to check out many of the new mods that are out, so I thought I'd fire up the game again. I'd really prefer to do a fresh install though and finish the quests via the console rather than play though it all once more. What I'm unsure about is if I should, or have to, progress gradually through the quests, completing all the stages in each, or if I can simply proceed staright to the end of each main quest right away? I assume I need to do it the first way, or I'll miss out on the reqreds and stuff, but I thoughtI'd ask just to be sure.
Anyone feel like clueing me in?

If you check out the cheat sites I think you'll find a command to complete all quests in one go. However using the console will not get you any rewards, those would need to be added manually. Info on the various quest stages can be found in the CS and so you can sometimes speed things along and do bits of the quest. However you do run the risk of screwing parts of he game. Why not simply play the mods and ignore all the other quests? Or just do the ones that appeal to you.

Thanks for the advice Malchik. I'll have a look for the cheat you mention; sounds like a real timesaver.

Sure it is. I was just explaining why I want to complete the main quests, rather than simply ignore them and just play the mods.

A little suggestion,i saw a vid on youtube on a way to defeat Dagon when you are escorting Martin to the Temple of the One.
Simply fire a few blasts from the Wabbajack at him and he'll LITARALLY fall apart, making it that much easier to get Martin to his destiny in the Temple,I've tested this on the PS3 so it's not a PC exclusive cheat.

If he dies before getting to the temple of the one, then how the heck does he still breaks the temple and martin transforming and killing him AGAIN? Makes you wonder if there could be an alternative ending, like with martin being the new emperor.

I wish there was another ending, it was all so stupid when Martin died, like: Did I just defy the laws of magic and change the fate of Cyrodiil just to get him killed?
