Ok here it is. Ive had this great idea for an armor. I'll be going into the service and to my suprise allready have my ship off date January, I'll be training to be a scout Sniper and was just wandering if anyone with some advanced skills could make a nice version of the new issue ACU (Acupat) maybe a Cut-way Tactical vest, a Drop-leg platform, PASGT LVIII with ACU cover and NVG bracket. Simply everything that a modern day soldier wears. Ive provided a thousand referance pictures for so that you can get an idea about the gear. Plus you gotta admit there are some pretty cool photos in there ^_^

Actually, this would be pretty cool to see, yea its not nessesarily Lore friendly (im a huge lore junky). But i would also like to see this done as well.

Thanks. I have all my Tac gear. ACU, LV3 PASGT helmet, Vest, gloves, boots, com system, alot of pouches including a hydration system and a nice OD-green M4 Carbine if you very detailed or specific pictures I can pull em out.

Holy crap man. Put an image warning or use links instead. Don't need all those images, and don't need them all being shown with image tags for every single person who happens to come to the thread. That's just plain inconsidderate for others.

And yeah, it doesn't fit into lore or really much else with the game. As interested as you might be, it just doesn't work with Oblivion. Go play Battlefield or something. Nobody is going to take the time to do something like this. And it may be taken the wrong way if it was since the intention is to portray a member of a modern, actually existing military.

lol I guess it does fill the thread up a bit but I think it would make great pictures and wallpapers, plus it would be like a COD4 & Oblivion hybrid. Simply put this mod would complement it.

Will I hope someone does do this, lore breaking or not it is something that will appeal to some and could also be a hoot to play with.

I've noticed the newest kinds of guns for oblivion were only staves shooting fireballs, maybe if someone could modify it to fire scripted mini-cannon rounds, Like say, Midna's magma ball type of round, then not only does it work like a grenade launcher, it seems more like a gun.

But sometimes, having the staff spawning scripted ammo can result in a bug where the ammo freezes in midair, like some of midna's spells i once used in game...

Good luck and even if things seem calm, if the little voice in your head yells "duck!" then do it. Getting shot doesn't hurt, but the damage it causes does.

I think it would be cool. A Stargate like quest would explain how some american soldiers ended leaving the uniforms behind. A long time ago.

I do have one gripe as a future soldier get your uniforms straight!!
The pics were so huge I stopped loading the page, but my real
problem is at least one was a picture of a MARINE wearing cammies
and some were of the old DCU(desert camo uni).
