What do you guys wanna do in MEMod when its released? Any plans?
example: I, from the moment I found this mod, have allways wanted to take a hobbit, travel trough Middle Earth to Mordor and jump down the Mountain of doom (not sure if its called like that).

Hahaha, I can't tell you how many times one of my posts has been mis-read... *heavy sigh* THREE *heavy sigh*
I plan on being a Man, Gondorian if there's an option. Then I'll buy myself a long range melee weapon like a spear... or a pitchfork =) and a small bladed weapon (dagger).
Then I'll go adventure somewhere west of Gondor, and after a few weeks or so, attempt the main quest =P

I think I want to be either a Rider of Rohan or a Hobbit. I think it would be cool to explore the area around the shire, and maybe even the Old Wood (so I can look for Tom

), and with the new textured grass I think the plains of Rohan would be an incredible sight...

I'm thinking of doing a marathon by running around middle earth starting from the Grey heavens, as a dwarf! Then I'll probably go kill some orcs and hobbits.

I'll spend the first week or two wandering around Middle-Earth and just doing nothing but look at the scenery...
Beautiful Misty Mountains, Gondor, Ithilien, Azanulbizar... Moria!
Better not to think about it yet...

Well, if Elves end up being playable...twenty guesses what I'll be

If not, an Dunadain are playable, then I'll be a Dunadain. Either way, I wish to become an Elf-Friend and spend as much time with the Elven Folk as possible...
And I intend to wander throughout Eriador and go adventuring over in Arnor and the Lands beyond Arnor. That and I'll go to Bree to see if The Prancing Pony is there (Tolkien stated in FotR that it had been there and tended by Butterbur's ancestors for most of antiquity). So I think I'll go over and have a couple of Beers and a good smoke of Longbottom Leaf...And swap stories with the locals and whatnot.

I've said it in another post, but I'll repet it

I want to be a merchant character to trade from gondor to arnor and rent some mercenaries to come with me to protect my little caravan (or I will go with another caravan).
And I also want to be a raider of Ithilien

I believe the first thing I will do is... hm... Make a Hobbit character, perhaps? He would simply relax in taverns and have tea parties with his wee Hobbit friends in his burrow.
Then I think I'll make a soldier character, he'll kill 10 Orcs, he will!
Dunedain
Feb 5 2004, 10:31 PM
The first thing i will do is make a few friends from the Dunedain and then a few friends from the elven folk and then arm my self to the teeth and go on a orc killing spree.....

I'll just explore the huge world for a while, and level up my character. I'm really looking forward to joining an army and taking part in some battles. After I finish the main quest I'm going to the shire for a little hobbit-killing spree.

Of course that might screw up the history of middle earth and I could be a victim of an instant-kill script or some other form of punishment from the devs......

He sits alone in the shadows under the forest canopy strumming his guitar with the soothing favor of Old Toby on the tip of his toung. Then a creek in the woods, a waft of horrid sent or a sudden flash in the corner of his eye that lesser men wouldn't notice, brings his gentel corus to a halt, blending seemlessly back into the sounds on the night. He has aquired his targets now, a band of four half-drunk orcs who will never live to regret the shortcut they decided on.Niether heaven nor hell will come between him and the distruction of these vile creatures. He takes cover behind a low-lying shrub and an notches an arrow, completely unnoticable by those in his keeping. He raises his bow and fixes his sight on an particulary gruesom looking yrch carrying a gnarled bow and a rusty scimitar. He is commited. Training is arrow on the right side of the orc's neck two inches below the jawline, he takes a deep breath and at the peek he relaxes his fingers, allowing the arrow to sink deeply into it's victum's jugular. The heap falls to the ground gargling blood and his formmer friends now draw blades frantically looking around. Then another arrow whines into the forehead of one more of the creatures who dies on his feet. the two remainders without a word unaminously agree to give up the fight and take to thier heals. After a four-hundred foot sprint they stop once again to see if they are beeing followed. No sign. On looks at the the other and begins to quitely chuckle, but this is abruptly ended when the tip of and arrow is produced from his comrad's heart, fleckling black blood on his face. He's terror shreek is silenced a moment later when a downward-diaginal swing losens his head and right sholder from the rest of his body.
The Ranger of the North tiumphantly lights his pipe and wipes his sword clean.

Well, I would like to be an elf... but that might not happen so in that case I'd like to be a dwarf but that might not happen... So then I'd like to be a man but that might not happen either... Anyway none of what I say may be possible so... I would love, for some strange reason, to explore Moria. Only if it was still inhabited by dwarves peacefully. I think it would be amazing to see giant halls filled with dwarves, and to see a smithy, or someone mining the depths of Khazud Dum... I'd also like to explore Lothlorien, or go to Rivendell, one of the two or both. Minas Tirith would be interesting as well...

Then it would be good for you to know that the Dwarves fleed from Moria on TA 1981... So that might as well not be possible, too...

i'm going to go into the editor and make a weapon that does a ton of damage - then destroy middle earth

and proove that you can, indeed, change the course of middle earth's history in this mod

no i'm not going to do that... who knows what i'll do. who knows if i'll even be interested anymore when the mod is finally released. i'm already starting to lose interest (not a shot at anyone, in case it looks like it) to be honest.

The first thing I would do is checking out all the new stuff , like AI, realism effects, combat systems, etc. After that I would pick a dwarf and head for Rivendell, from there I will go to Eregion to search the anchient ruins, after that my destination will be Moria and then to march through Mirkwood finaly reaching Erebor (The Lonely mountain). After that I might pay a visit to the Iron hills, or some Human/Elven settlement south like Gondor.

I'm certain any waning interests in MeMod will be restored once we have the opportunity to adventure here!
As for me, I would like to play a Dunedain, and venture first to the Grey Havens for a lengthy, and long overdue, chat with Cirdan.

That just about summed it up for me..
And also that ranger of the north post.
If I can't be an elf, I'll train my woodland survival skills up, and travel far and wide protecting the people of Eriador from unknown threats
