I have a problem.
I have a Shadowmere horse. And after loading one of my saves i found that it missed!
Wherever i go i can't find it BUT, when i come to any place i receive a message that my horse stabled outside the city gate. Even when i come to the ruins or camp.

Help me please, i don't want to load savegame when i can find it. It's too old .

You must care someone Penelope lurking this forum... She developed a strange quest for itself at stealing all cirodiil horses

Just kidding of course. I know for sure exists a mod, I think its name being "Where is my horse", that places a compass mark over the location of the last horse owned by the player (just hope you haven't betrayed Shadowmare with any unworthy 'pangare')

PS: anyway you must count with the possibility of Shadowmare being disabled someway since it can't die. Return if the idea above doesn't work.

There is just no such quest in quest list . Actually 70% of mods don't want to work in my oblivion .
Situation in detailes:
I made quick travel to the exit from prison dungeon, left my horse there, and went to the nearby "wolverine" ruins. There i upgreded several of my scills (thanks to bandit bowman ). after that ia made quick travel to the university and left several stuffs in archmage's cupboard. Then i sold other staff and traveled to another ruins. There i saw this message about stabled horse first time .
After that i checked all stables in Cyrodil without any result .
Well, i don't think that crabs could kill my horse (it's a Shadowmere after all), and if it dead why this message continue to appear?
And i don't think it felt hurt - i just left it.
I will load this save, now i'd like to know reasons of this situation to prevent it in future
PS Is this a way to left my hors in current place and quick travel without it? To assoult the Oblivion gate for example.

Travel to a city and if the message pops up just walk to one of the gates and exit the city, don't fast travel, then maybe Shadowmere might be there.

If that doesn't help try going to the place where you got Shadowmere the first time, it was some kind ruin I think, wich served as Lucien Lachance's hideout. If shadowmere is left alone for a time he ussually returns there by himself. That's how I found him the last time I lost him.

There are lot of ruibs, and i passed this quest more than a year ago.
Is this any manual for Oblivion quests???
I'll try to find the proper save, but there are several hundreds of saves.

interesting that i can't neither remember that i passed black brotherhood quests, neither find saves made during them (i made more then 400 saves during all quests).

Ok.
I left the city but i still can't find Shadowmere.
And i can't remember where i found it.
i will load old savegame.

Try looking at Fort Farragut. It's where Shadowmere wanders off.
