You know...a new armor is not just about texturing tongue.gif. Iron Man suit needs custom meshes and to be honest it really doesn't fits the Tamrielic lore...but anyway...I did an adidas shirt retexture so I shouldn't talk about lore. Anyway good luck with your request...maybe someone will do the suit smile.gif

I briefly thought about creating the suit of armor but I simply have too many things going on to take on yet another project. wink.gif

It would be really cool but as already stated, it wouldn't fit into Oblivion very well so no matter how well it was made, the author would need to have thick skin...then again, releasing it with votes and comments turned off would be ideal. When I was thinking about doing this, it would have simply been a set found for sale at a vendor shop rather than some silly quest which would be useless since this would just be a gimmick armor...e.g. I don't think anyone would use it very long and I would probably spend more time creating it than actually wearing it. How funny is that. hehehe.

How To Make Mods
Jetrel
i think its a cool idea, i have tons of poo on my game from asian sites that doesnt look like it should be in oblivion anyways. i say try it out. ^^
Triforce1
I've got it. You could make the armor look very much like the iron man suit, except you could make it a slightly rusted golden color, with extruding gears and stuff. See what I'm getting at here? You could say that is the shell of an old Dwemer robot that was cast aside in a deep cave somewhere in the mountains. i.e. you could make the armor as stated above, then just dump it in some cave deep in the mountains with a note (or no note). When something seems too out-of-character for the relatively un-advanced Cyrodiil, just blame it on the Dwemer! That way, you'd have free reign. Also, to make the armor, you would have to make custom meshes and textures using a 3d program and something like Photoshop of the GIMP (my vote; free!).

Alexscorpions sneaking gear isnt lore friendly, but thats still popular, i dont see why this wouldnt be popular if it was as well made as the sneaking gear. Granted it wouldnt have my download because i'm not into that kind of stuff. But its nothing i would bash around.

tri, thats brilliant. i didnt even think of the rusted up looking iron man suit, like the one stark built in the cave from the movie.
heh, would be cool to have a quest to get the generator thing in the characters chest. could treat it like a amulet. then enchant the suit in a way to say, slow speed, kill acrobatics, jack up strength and armor, ect. even add flamethrowers and such. this has the plotential to be a great mod.
all this needs is more freethinkers like triforce.
Krystall
Dude im sorry if this is rude but iron man? Get a life..... this is the MEDIEVIL AGES!!!! before electricty, before video games, before running water. I can understand if you want to put a new mod in but that is just stupid if you ask me
maafiaman
Uhhhh...Krystall sorry to disagree with you but have you even played Morrowind??? In Morrowind you could find in Dwemer Ruins some kind of electrical lamps on walls. As far as this mod goes i totally agree with Triforce1. The same has been done with Dwemer Mjolnir (Halo Spartan Armor), it was done in a rusty version and I totally like it. I am looking forward for this mod rolleyes.gif .
