After a reinstall of windows XP I have tried to install Oblivion, Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. I have had nothing but trouble with loading mods and was wondering whether I had got the patch order wrong. Also the patch supplied with the disc on Knights of the Nine is the wrong one. Ubisoft in their infinite wisdom sold this in UK with the USA patch. Can anyone point me to the correct one for an English version?

i got the uk patch from their site elderscrolls.com click on downloads at the top then patches to the left and it should come up with the right patches.

Oblivion > Knights > Shivering Isles. Also only install the patch for Shivering Isles, not both.
