I think the game developers are trying to do the easy stuff by publishing MMORPG... Cause you dont need to build up a great storyline and quest lines linked with that... Heck you dont even need a storyline, just throw a monster there and there, throw a bunch of players there and there, there you have it, the incredible monster of something is threatening the lives of the somethings and the brave adventurers are after the monster... Whoa I made up a MMORPG now

I agree with you MasterAub, playing on LAN would be awesome, but I would never pay for an online game if it is something awesome or rocking the world like WOW... Because I am 27 and I am working like 10 hours a day, I need to sleep at least 6 hours a day, that left 8 hours for me to eat, travel (to work and back and stuff) spend time with my girlfriend, get social and play games

I dont want to pay like 150 or 200 bucks for limited hours of play, I see it as a waste of money...
And also to play on LAN with friends, the whole interior design must change, can you imagine trying to go through the tunnels in dungeons, mostly are relatively narrow to walk side by side, so lets say you and 3 of your friends are going down a tunnel, a monster comes out and you need to fight one by one cause the tunnel is really narrow

not that fun I guess... NWN was fun with friends cause it was big, not the exteriors but interiors were big... so online has to be optional IMO... and I have to admit I never saw any other developer coming up with great storyline like Beth, there was Ion Storm, who published Deus ex, and of course Black Isle, bioware... so I dont want one of the greatest developers in the industry to do something online, another example is the GTA series... only the first one was available for multiplayer, and the others were not... but the other GTA's were awesome and they were not online...
Well whatever, I guess I talk too much

sorry...
