Ok, if someone can point me in the direction of a weapon similar to this that already exists please in form me.

Now, i am a modder but there is one thing all the tutorials on the web have not taught me....

How to make a flaming texture around a blade!!!

What i plan to do is use the flaming texture, and use it as the blade without a physical blade in it, a phantasmic blade of sorts...

If someone will make this for me i will be in your debt, below i will have my personal ideas for the blade but for now...

please inform me of where i could find a tutorial or please teach me how to make firey blade textures!

Blade info:

This spectral blade would technically be a sword but it should be more of a blade that launches it self out of your arm.

it should be a white, green, blue, or any other-worldly color.

I would at least try to make it estend FROM your arm and not be held like a sword, like it runs parrelel with your forearm.

i dont really care for an enchant ment or not, if there is it hsould be about reaving souls, stealing power, and should deal some additional magic or firey damage.

When sheithed i would like it to either

A: Have a glow, the same color as the blade, evelop your fightiing arm.

b: or a spiritual coil goes around your arm.

Now, please try and help me make this possible for all the people of oblivion!

Weapons cannot have any aspect of them weighted, this means no bending or conforming to the person using it. Anything which extended to the arm would likely only look right when standing perfectly still.

Sounds like you're describing Raziel's version of the Soul Reaver. I've seen this done before, by a girlfriend of mine. She tried several different ways to wield the weapon, but just as Vagrant said, they all look horrible when you actually attack with it. She eventually gave up on the sword and likely trashed it.

Edit: Also, it never extended from the arm, it was just equipped normally. I assumed it was an animation issue so I never asked.

It might be possible..., if that "spiritual coil" you want is a gountlet, glove or wristband, like a summned armor, but I don't think that this is wat you want..., is it? (the sumoned "gloves" (spiritual coil) will overwright the ones you're wearing).

This is the only way I can think of that might do wat you want, it only goes on the lower arms or hands, thought.

That is exactly what i want, i want raziel's sword!

and yes, the spiritual coil would fit as an animated gauntlet and the sword just as the sword, and i believe it is infact possible, just hard...

And yes, i was thinking about making it like bound armour, but i wanted to see what responce i got before i said anything about it.
