I just checked, it archived my sent items, and got the email in about a minute. Verify that you have the correct email account in your profile.

Hmm, just checked my e-mail address and it's ok. Tried again "Archive messages" function still does not work. It's really a very helpful tool, unfortunately I cannot make use of it.
