honestly ?
i dont pay enough attention to new games of any kind ofr any new system i dont care much for the hype and i dont have a pc good enough to play them nor am i inclined to cough up a few internal organs to get a system i can play the latetst and greatest for all of six months before they are out dated again
( one of the many reasons i am a console gamer )
but i got enough games to play as it is 200 sega saturn games to start with
the only game i know that is being released any time soon is the sims 3 and a second wow expansion pack the first because i am a sims fan and the second because of the news letter
i doubt you are interested in either
oh and mass effect is just kotor with out starwars lisence and kotor was just never winter nights with starwas lisence
does any oen get the feeling bioware is feeding us the same game over and over again ?
like oh say eidos nintendo rockstar and valve are doing ?
nah im prolly the only one as usual

Well Fallout 3 should be... Interesting. I'm wondering if they can please the original fanbase. If they turned an RPG like fallout into a first person shooter (I'm exaggerating here, of course), it would show where they'd probably go with TES V.

My money's on Mass Effect as well. I'm fairly dubious about Fallout 3 since a lot of these fully 3d RPGs seem to sacrifice freedoms for graphics. We'll see.
Actually, I just noticed it came out two days ago! Geez, I already forgot.
Otherwise I've my eye on some Suda 51 releases for the DS. In the "announced" category (code for who the hell knows if or when it débuts), it's Baldur's Gate III and KOTOR III.
bluekatt, you're not alone in noticing some repetition, but I thought it a brilliant staple. I've always enjoyed how Bioware manages to blend a decent script with enough options to give the player the illusion of choice. Not many developers give you as much conversational freedom as Bioware esp. on consoles, which are usually flooded with JRPGs (like Final Fantasys). Not to say JRPGs are worse, but the majority typically present the PC with fewer choices.

My want list for this year is exactly four games long:
-Fallout 3 (PC)
-Left 4 Dead (PC)
-Starcraft 2 (PC)
-Mercenaries 2 (360)
Anything else is gravy as long as I exit 2008 with all of the above. I'd mention GTA IV, but since there's no hard info on the PC port yet...

Well I am hopeful about Fallout 3 cause bethesda is doing that... so not much will be sacrificed in sake of graphics, and I saw many of the screenshots, the environment looks awesome! In the early games we couldnt see the real mess of mass destruction and stuff but now the buildings are torn apart, the streets are empty, also I heard that they still have the turn based fighting system, the space button is for freezing the game and make desicions, but ı dont know how good the system will work cause in the early games the game would roll dice to see whether you would hit or not... so what will happen, if you even place the crosshair on the enemy and shoot, will the game roll a dice to check if I hit or not? but I already placed the crosshair?
Anyway I am curious and I am pretty sure it will kick ass

I'll buy Mass Effect for the PC after I see it drop in price. That's what I do usually, unless it's a game I really want right away like TES V or Doom 4. Anyhow here is my want list of games that are in development.
I'm looking forward to

BTW Mass Effect is SOLID! if you like a good RPG with some action, give it a try... it is not action base RPG like Diablo (BTW Diablo series are not RPG they r Hack n Slash

) it is roleplay based... I finished the game yesterday... To give an example to show the game's RPG element, I defeated the last boss just speaking

My speechcraft skill was maxed and I solved many situations only speaking...
Give it a try I say

Prototype! I've seen the trailers and it looks great, I can hear my midrange PC screaming already.
Farcry 2 and Red Alert 3 both look promising.
The new S.t.a.l.k.e.r.
BTW, what type of combat is fallout 3 going to have, cause I read somewhere that it is turn based and then I won't play it.

The combat system will be optional, you can press a button and pause the game and decide what to do and go on like Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter Nights... The sad part is, the game is not isometric anymore, it will be a 3rd person or 1st person like Oblivion... The good part is because it is not isometric, the developers made hell of a job creating the post apocalyptic world, I was stunned to see the broken street lights, the torn buildings and the incredible atmosphere...

Haven't played either of those games, do you mean like the combat system in knights of the old republic?

Yea the first two fallout games had point and click style combat...
In fallout 3, I guess you will be able to aim and shoot, but there is an option to pause the game and decide what to do... I am not sure how it will work out thou...

I'm drooling over the prospect of Project Origin. I'm a HUGE F.E.A.R. fan, and i've been waiting for the sequal ever since I beat it the first time.

Fallout 3 could be iffy, though they're simply moving the fallout series into the style of the TES series; it could upset a lot of the fan base. anyways, i will still be paying attention to fallout 3 along with mercenaries 2 and farcry 3, and especially
Borderlands

There are a couple of games im really looking forward to and here they are:
-Fallout 3 (It is a must on my part)
-Spore (The game just looks to cosy)
-Mirror's Edge (This is a kinda parkour thingy like game im looking forward to it because i do parkour myself so)
-Far Cry 2 (I loved the other games so, im really excited)
-Half-Life 2: Episode Three (Im really looking forward for this game cuz i love all the valve games)
-Diablo 3 (Oh i just love these games..can't wait for this baby to be released)

Mirror's Edge looks pretty interesting- it is certainly something different from the norm, which is unspeakably rare these days (aside from Portal, of course). I'll definitely be following it closely and hope it turns out well. I particularly like the "you can see your body from FPP" thing that it seems to have going on; I'm getting more than a little tired of the old "you have no feet" camera that's been with first-person games as long as they've existed. The last game I remember playing where there was an option to see your body in first-person was Tribes2, though I might be forgetting something somewhere. Of course, the spiffy camera-on-a-body isn't going to mean anything if the game is no good, so let's just hope that it is good.
*fingers crossed*
