I have just recently seen a mod which adds dragon riders to morrowind (just like silt striders), wouldn't it be possible to somehow edit this mod so you can actually fly on a dragon yourself?
For example, you can buy a dragon, hop on it and fly with it to far destinations would be really cool )

I've checked out the TES construction set myself, but it really doesn't make any sense to me, that's why i'm asking this.

Well, about the only thing you could do is make boots that look like a dragon and add constant 500pt levitation...

The ability to ride something is difficult, if not impossible, to do right. There's nothing even close to it in the existing game, so you'd have to write the entire riding script yourself (assuming it could be done at all).

Boots which look like a dragon doesn't sound like a to bad idea then. is there some site or anything which explains how to use the TES constuction kit? Think i'm gonna try and make mod which will allow you to fly a on a (boot)dragon.
Assuming that i'm able to make a mod like that, wouldn't it look a bit weird wearing a dragon on your feet? I mean that you would be standing on the dragon then, won't ya?

im assuming that you would need to know scripting as a second language to do this, people that are scripting geniuses are on these forums, Lord of the cheese is one of them, but as peregrine said, its almost impossible, your best bet, is making a curiass, completely oversized with animations, and upon riding it, you get money deducted for every....5 seconds, the curiass does a levitation 500pts, and if you cant pay up anymore, you are teleported to a default spot....my guess.

Well it's sure gonna be difficult enough, thats for sure!! But i heard there was some kind of mod for horses. It isn't supposed to be that good, but if your char is really riding on it it might be possible to combine a few things. That way you'd spare a lot of scripting work.

yeah the horse mod is also not too good, maybe if you make it so your character switches animations to riding a horse, and if your good enough, you can make it so he/she moves on the horse, to gallops and all, or you could stick transforming into a horse, while your character suddenly appears ontop of the horse, with a new animation, so half of his body isnt sticking out of the horse, its possible, but takes alot of time and skill to do so

There is the Particle Weapons Merchant Mod, which ads a sort of glider in the game. You can actualy fly with it and with some improvements and adaptions you possibly can make a dragon to fly the same way.

if you can edit the animations i envy yee oh and can you tell me..... The idea sounds cool but unrealistic. you'll somethin like 3ds max and a lot of knowledge.
