Hey all you grotz!
Who's a 40k player and whats your army list?
I play Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines. I've got about 6000 and 2800 points resectively and no set army list that I use for either. I tend to compose my force based on what my opponent is using.
I also like to play apocalypse games so I can bring my Baneblade and Thunderbolt to the party as well.
Also, I'm looking for players to join my small gaming group in south eastern Missouri (St. Francois county to be exact). Any takers?

We talking table top or PC here?
Cause if it's PC, go to the PC game forum and look at the last post I made on 'Sequels we'd like to see'. It's got a huge bit of information on the upcoming Dawn of War II.

Table top of course. I do have a fondness for the Dawn of War series though.

Meh. I played tabletop Warhammer once. It's actually good.
Never got into it really. Can't afford all those little fellas (especially when I'm trying to get the fabled $5000 computer!) nor do I have the hands to paint them with.

Yeah, the game can be pretty expensive sometimes. Painting just comes with practice and patience. I've been doing it most of my life and would be happy to help with advice and what-not.
Seeing as how you like wolves, you might look into the Space Wolves chapter of Space Marines.

I remember reading that the Space Wolves were like Vikings....and White Scars were quickstrike dudes.

Yeah, they kind of have some viking-esque traits but I get the impression more like Berzerker, wolf-obsessed, superhuman space barbarians with large fully-automatic rocket-propelled assault rifles. Oh and don't forget the walking-tank Power Armor.

Bah, 40K is for retards!

WHFB, now that's for
real gamers.
On the serious note tough, I been thinking of starting with either Tau or Emperor's Children, due to my obsession with Slaanesh and The Greater Good.

Go for Chaos marines. Or, if you REALLY like Slaanesh, there is the new Chaos Daemons Codex that just came out. Daemonettes, uhhh.... Lots of rending claws.
You know what would be cool though, Corrupted Tau. Combine the both of them and use the 'counts as' rules.
