What I am looking foreward to the most would have to be, well I personnally could not decide on a single region. It is just the sheer vastness of the lands and planning your journeys across them. So I guess my single region would have to be the misty moutains (and under them) because of the thought of scaling mountains so huge that the fall from the top would allow a deep concentration and thought before you... landed. And Gondor because journeying across the epic sized open terrain, Oh and dont forget MirkWood....
OK I am just ranting now, but you have to think single region. Post Away!

I am looking foward to Mirkwood, Lothlorien, and Rohan... maybe not the Rohrahim just the land itself. I like vast open plains.

I think I'd have to go with Mirkwood as well. I'm a fan of places with lots of cover, and lots of dense foliage.

Any place with wide open plains and horses, i.e. Rohan.
I remember when hours would go by galloping around Hyrule on top of Epona in The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I would love to gallop from Minas Ithil to Osgiliath to Minas Tirith, in all their glory and splendor. I'll also be crawling around the Misty Mountains, trying to find the eagles. But if Memod is anything like the books, you don't find them, they find you

Definatley Imladris, I would stay there and read all of the histories that Elrond had in his library...joy!

I'm looking forward to using my ridiculously overpowered Elf wearing 2 Acrobatic Enchanted rings and jumping right next to the Eye of Sauron in one leap. He'd give a few blinks I figure, wondering what just happened......

I will live in... the wilds...
I hope there will be a lot of inns. Bothered me in Morrowind, that you sometimes had to go out of to town to heal. Or kill someone and take his bed, but...

I think the wood where the Ents live (Fangorn in Dutch, I don't know the English name) is very special too, guys...
Edit: Better? Sorry, but I'm from Belgium and here you don't get English before high school so I'm NOT good at it, so don't laugh with me!
.:Imrahil:.

that's more like it!
also called Fangorn in English.
Dutch: je moet komma's en punten gebruiken, vet irritant als je dat niet doet. Nog iets: to=naar/voor en too=ook. Nogal verwarrend, want nu staat er: Fangorn waar de Enten wonen is speciaal voor mensen (guys).

OK, I won't laugh.
I don't think widely. People on the lake (don't know the Engish name

) know him, but in Gondor or Rohan and such, I don't think they know him there. But Im no 100% sure, my knowledge on ME is pretty good compared to my friends, but here, I don't anything...

What I would like to see the most? Hm, difficult. Perhaps Khazad-Dum still inhabited by dwarves (if it still exists in the time where the story takes place). But also Rohan would be nice... But I really would like to be in the mountains. Misty Mountains, White Mountains, Grey Mountains, but certainly not the Mountains of Shadow and Ash, they are ugly. In the end, I would like to see everything

Will we be able to travel to Rhun or Harad? This could be interesting...

glad to see all the discussion, but you won't be able to see Mt. Doom off in the distance like you described. The morrowind engine won't allow it. *sighs* oh well, supposedly Daerk has some sort of devious plan that will look nice but you still won't be able to see into the next cell. *sighs*

Someone needs to read the pinned threads and FAQ and whatnot.
You are a commoner in the mod.
There is no way to become godlike.
Cheats are monitored and if used will autokill your character.
All unique individuals essential to certain events in Tolkien's Timeline will not be able to be killed or otherwise harmed. You will be struck down by a torrent of blows faster than you can finish drawing your weapon in their presence.

And then i will end dreaming XDD

I will be a Valar, no, I will KILL the Valar and take over Arda. Mwahaha, not even Daerk can stop me now! LoL, alright, alright, back to reality.......sucks to be a commoner

I want to see mountains, yes, mountains.
The Misty Mountains would be fine... I would gladly "take a walk" over Caradhras

Also, I would love to see the Ash mountains, the Lonely Mountain, the Iron hills, etc etc etc.
And Lothlórien

Speaking of taking a walk over Caradhras... Will weather systems affect your character?? I am thinking that they will, because that is a pretty big realism thing. It always bothered me that weather in Morrowind had no affect on you or any npcs. The townspeople stood around in the rain, and only raised their hands in front of their faces during an ash storm... Come on they could at least make them dissappear during storms like they had gone inside.
Actually now that I think about it, I remember Daerk saying something about their being different temperatures in certain cells that would affect your character, so I guess you could freeze to death on Caradhras if you didn't have some way to keep warm...
Rynos
Jan 31 2004, 07:39 PM
IIRC, weather will have a factor on NPC's and on the player.
