The Monkey Island Series? Full Throttle, Day Of The Tentical? Indyana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis? Sam an Man Hit the road? Grim Fandango?
Anyone else play there? To me these games will always have a special place, timeless classics that are still as fun today as they were when they first came out. Well written and developed characters, compelling stories, and beautiful artwork. What are yourthoughts on these classic games?

I can't say anything to the game you mentioned specifically(i've never played any of them). But being the Sci-fi junkie that I am, Dark Forces, Empire at war, and about a dozen others I just couldn't do without. Lucas Arts has made or published some great stuff.

I would probably have to agree with jojo man here. I love Dark Forces, Star Wars the Phantom Menace (Woot! Go Windows 95!

) and countless others.
My favorite so far would have to be
Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. (

Ah, the Good ol' Days... *Sigh*

Dark Forces is fantastic, and DFII: Jedi Knight is even better. I reinstalled it recently and played through it; that game is still absolutely amazing.

I got hours of fun out of dark forses, i never got runf to playing the sequal though
Emperor's tomb was fun for a time, I got upto the final level, but could go no further. Great story, but i'm not too keen on the whole action adventrure thing. but that doesn't ruen the fun parts of the game at all, of which there were many.

Full Throttle and Grim Fandango all the way!

But I will say Full Throttle since I love Corley Motors
It was a short but awesome game, a little too easy maybe but the storyline was great, Polecats rule!!!

And the monkey Island series was great too, unbelievable humor and great cute graphics...
All in all lucas arts do awesome games, I would like to add Indiana Jones Fate of Atlantis too, great great game

I thought I saw a while back that some of these LucasArts titles were coming (or indeed already released) to the portable Nintendo DS.

Monkey Island FTW! I love that series, although I never played the third... 1, 2, 4. Lol. I still love to sometimes play, and I'd love if they managed to continue that series.

Well doesn't seem much future for Lucas Arts, 100 employees was fired and outsourcing their jobs, abeit most are on the QA and production service part. But the games George Lucas wants to produce now is the Indianna and Stay Wars series, and I'm not big into it.
I enjoy the work of Tim Schafer though, who now runs Double Fine Production, so he's continuing on his creativity and humours shown from Grim Fandango. Psychonauts was really fun experience and I'm going to check out his new gtame Brutal Legend too.

I always loved OUtlaws. One of the best old west games I've ever played. It actually works on XP and I think on Vista as well (although I cant remember for sure).

Oh man! how could I forget the game... I should go tonight and install it, BTW if you have the double CD version, the CD's are audio tracks, so you can listen to great western music...
