is there some way to kill Dagoth Ur without havin to destroy the hart??
when you read the notes you receive, the'll say you have to strike the hart once with the hammer, then strike it one time with keening (which then should give you an immortal substance, haven't noticed anything though).
then the notes say they will not explain the third step to wield the power from the hart, but instead they say you have to hit the hart several more times to destroy it.

i don't want to destroy the hart, so is there another way or does someone know the third step to wield the power?

I'm afraid destroying the heart is the only way.

Sure you can kill him, but unless the heart is completly destroyed, he'll keep coming back.

i tried shuffing him into the lava, but that doesnt really work, he just keeps on standing in the lava wondring around a bit

Dagoth Ur is totally invincible until you destroy the heart and send him toppling to his doom

And no, there is no third step. I can 100% ensure you of that would have been cool if they included it though.

Not really. It doesn't do anything special, I know that much... just a way of explaining the process of destroying the heart.

upon nearly destroying the heart, you get a surge of power causing you to destroy it?

i'll just have to kill him the old fashion way then!!
i'll just make sure he suffers a lot more, just because he didn't offer me to learn how to handle the hart .
