I am just curious (as I'm sure others are too), as to where the users of this site reside in this world.
I live in North America by the way. Minneapolis, Minnesota. USA.
Where do you live (City, State, Country, etc.)?
Thank you for your time.

I live in Texas & love it!
(brag) Texas is the only state in the union that can legally fly its flag at the same height as the American flag because it was once a Republic and has the option of doing so again by state declaration (voting).
If you visit you will probably notice the same amount (or more) of The Lone Star flags flying high as The Stars & Stripes, most of us are proud & friendly but can kick @$$ if need be.

As Monty Python sang: I'm a Lumberjack and I'm OK....
Mostly say the bit about Houston just to annoy fellow Texans. Lived awhile in Kerrville, Dallas, Fort Worth, (sounds like they kept running me out of town), Nacogdoches, but mostly in the Beaumont area. Miss the southern hospitality, barbecue, Cajun food, and the beach in the winter. Don't miss the humidity. Moved up here because of my mother. She looked after me my first 17 years of my life, so it's only fair I look after her the last years she has.
In some ways, I envy those that live in other countries. It's merely home to them, but to us that haven't been there, it's an interesting place. I mean, we only have a few hundred years of history.
But the way I see it, each place is what you make of it.

I've always wanted to visit Russia. Love the architecture. Country spans 11 time zones, America only has four. History clear back to before there was even history. Oh, and the women....totally different quality than Western Europe or American ones. Oo, la la.... gotta love the Ruskie babes.

yey! just voted, so now the Europeans are at 50% of respondents.
As some lists have started to appear, I thought I'd add my own, of places I have lived:
England ( course )
Wales- mid and south
Scotland ( the best so far )
Canada - BC, Alta ( old abrev ), Yukon ( does it still exist? )
Morrocco- Marakesh express
Spain- Arenys de Mar, Ibiza, Torremolinos before it was crap.
USA- LA, Ore, Wash.
Would like to go to the East, but have developed a flying phobia. Could drive but there are some unpleasant places in the way. Better learn to sail, and avoid pirates.

Yes, Chesto, Yukon still exists. We have a new province called Nunivut. If you want great old world charm in North America. You have to visit Quebec City, but Newfie is the oldest settlement in North America. Like Texas, we use to be a Republic, before being part of Great Britain, than Canada. We were called The Republic of Ireland. We're over Five Hundred years old; them good ol' vikings. Here's a bit of Canadian history for you. Thanks , Carah. And for the history. Pity Erik et al couldn't make a go of it. America might have been a different place ( no offense denizens of the continent of N. America ). Course, knowing the Vikings, they still would have p'd off the locals in the long run.
